STUDENT ENROLMENT

Carnegie Primary School is a government school. All children who are Australian citizens or permanent residents, and who are under eighteen years, are entitled to be enrolled in a government school.  They are guaranteed a place for the school for which they are zoned and may apply to another school which has capacity for out of zone enrolments.

Children may enter primary school at the beginning of the year that they turn 5 if their birthday falls before the 30th April. The School caters to students from Foundation (Prep) - Grade 6.

Carnegie Primary School follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy:

  • to provide an efficient process of enrolment that satisfies the needs of both students and the school.
  • to provide a fair and equitable opportunity to attend the School.
  • The School has a Neighbourhood Boundary (Zone) due to enrolment constraints so please visit https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/

SCHOOL TOURS AND PREP EXPO

Carnegie Primary School welcomes enrolments across all year levels. School tours are conducted in terms 2 and 3 and booking are essential.

A Prep Expo is held each year in May, where school tours will be conducted from 9.30am until 10.15am and followed by a presentation in the hall from 10.15am-11.00am.
