Welcome students, families and staff to 2012 and a brand new year. A special welcome to all our new students, especially our new preps and all the new families joining us for the first time. Carnegie Primary School is a growing school with an approximate enrolment this year of about 430 students in 18 classes. Our steadily-growing enrolments allow for greater flexibility, both in staffing and curriculum, while still maintaining a community feel and a sense of belonging for all. We are committed to the development of whole-school effective teaching and learning practices to best support the children in our care. Our vision is to provide an engaging, supportive and inclusive learning environment where children can interact positively in a safe, respectful and cooperative atmosphere.
Teachers are currently finalising student assessments in preparation for completing mid year reports which will come home in the last week of term. Parent / teacher interviews will follow in the second week of term 3.  more...
